As Summer 2024 comes to a close, we wanted to reflect on the incredible progress we've made together.
Here's a breakdown of everything we've accomplished in the past few months:

July 2024 Highlights:
- Daily Streak Resets: We kicked off July by resetting player streaks and announcing a new reward structure for the Top Monthly Voters. Congratulations to our winners who snagged up to $1 million in-game cash!
- New Features: The Player and Donor Wall of Fame was updated, a Daily Gift NPC was introduced, and we added 50+ new emojis for Discord chat.
- SMP & Factions: We transitioned our SMP data to a new server and expanded the world border, doubling the building space! The much-anticipated Factions server entered beta with kits, bounties, and crates. We also introduced the EmeraldsMC Network v3.0, moving us one step closer to uniting our servers under a cohesive network.
- Weekly Challenges & Summer Sale: Players took part in various challenges while enjoying our 20% off Summer Sale on ranks and tokens.
- Server Migration: Despite unplanned downtime due to a node migration, we quickly got back on track, completing major transitions and improvements across the board.
August 2024 Highlights:
- EmeraldsMC Network v3.0: Progress accelerated with hub server integration, cross-server voting rewards, and optimized plugin updates. Our focus shifted to preparing SkyBlock, Factions, and Hub servers for their upcoming releases.
- Factions BETA Release: After weeks of hard work, Factions launched in beta with an exciting range of features, including dynamic PVP realms, custom kits, crates, and more. Players can claim their own areas, invade other factions, ally and partner with other teams, and raid bases to become the richest power!
- SkyBlock Survivor Islands BETA: Work on SkyBlock intensified, featuring island upgrades, resource generators, spawners, and the addition of Acid Islands—a dangerous new gameplay twist where swimming becomes hazardous!
- Plugin & Feature Updates: SMP saw new mob leveling systems, chat games, and advanced sleep mechanics. We also introduced custom furniture crafting and upgradable beacons.
- Server Stability: We improved server stability and performance, particularly by refining dynmap settings and fixing various bugs. We've upgraded our machine hardware to a 16GB Dedicated Server and have secured it until 2026.
Looking Ahead:
- SkyBlock Survivor Islands Beta: Expect more updates as we inch closer to the beta release. With island upgrades and new features, it'll offer an exciting experience.
- Factions Expansion: We continue to expand Factions, fine-tuning it based on your feedback. Bounties, FactionsTOP, minions, and more COMING SOON!
- Network Growth: EmeraldsMC Network (v3.0) is coming together nicely, with cross-server connectivity, improved performance, and expanded features across all game modes.
